The end of July is right around the corner and we are heading into August where it has been hotter then ever. Everyone likes their fun, fruity summer drinks but sometimes that doesn’t give us the acquit hydration that we need.

Drinking water throughout the day, especially in the summer, can keep use feeling great in the heat plus it has numerous positives for your body, including glowing skin. But plain water can be boring and really turn people off, so on this edition of Thirsty Thursday we are infusing your water with some great flavors that you will love to drink when the heat is too much.

1 cup sliced starwberries

1 cup sliced cucumbers

1/4 cup fresh mint leaves

ice cubes

In a half-gallon jar or 2 quart pitcher, layer the strawberries, cucumbers, lime, and mint with the ice cubes. Fill your container with water and let it chill for ten minutes. That’s it!

This drink is super easy to make and great to drink. You can also infuse your water with other flavors too including oranges, raspberries, and lemon. Remember the longer you let the water set the more it will taste like the fruits you put in it.
