Happy Thursday everyone! The weather out here in California has taken a turn for the better and we are getting sunshine and heat like no other! Since Spring is here, might as well find a fun drink to sip while enjoying the amazing weather outside. A pineapple orange green tea is not only refreshing but it is also healthy and filled with tons of minerals and vitamins that are good for you.
This drink is simple to make, taste great, and will be a hit with the friends and family. The ingredients are easy to get and the green tea will help speed up your metabolism and leave you feeling amazing!
- 6 green tea bags
- 10 cups water
- 1 cup fresh pineapple chunks
- 1 medium orange
- 1/2 cup honey
In a medium saucepan, bring 6 cups of water to a boil. Remove the pan from heat and throw in your teas bags and allow those to steep for 5 minutes. In a pitcher add the pineapple, orange, and honey. If you are not a fan of super sweet tea then you can choose to leave the honey out, it is up to you. Pour your warm tea into the pitcher, over the pineapple and oranges. Stir until all the ingredients are mixed together. Add the remaining 4 cups of water and refrigerate until you are ready to serve!
