Halloween Mayhem: Halloween Pretzel Rods

Recipe and Photo by Catch My Party

We are headed into Halloween weekend, which means parties, parties, and more parties. Be a good friend and bring these Halloween pretzel rods with you to whichever party you attend. They are fast and easy to make and sure to be a big hit at whatever bash you attend.

The fun thing about this Halloween recipe is you only need a few ingredients and you can prepare them overnight so you’re not running around the night of your party trying to get everything ready. Also they aren’t messy, so you don’t have to worry about making a mess of your halloween costume. .

  • Pretzel rods
  • Orange, black, and white candy melts
  • Halloween sprinkles
  • Baking sheet
  • Parchment paper
  • Ziploc bag

In separate bowls microwave your candy melts for 30-45 seconds intervals, stirring between each set. In individual Ziploc bags, add a few scoops of the melted candy melts and set them aside. In a tall mug pour the remaining candy melts so we can coat the pretzels. Dip your pretzel rods into the mugs, leaving a little uncovered so we can grab them. Lay each pretzel rod on a baking sheet with parchment paper and continue to do this process until every pretzel is covered. Take you Ziploc bags with the melted candy melts and your sprinkles and have fun adding designs onto your pretzel rods. You can do some with all sprinkles, some with festive zig zags, or some with both, the decision is yours. Place your pretzel rods in the fridge until the candy melts have hardened and then you’re finished! A great treat for everyone at your Halloween bash.
