When we welcome November we also welcome in the holiday season and of course, the Starbucks holiday drinks. Some of our favorites are back again this season, including the peppermint mocha, caramel brulee latte, and chestnut praline; but Starbucks announced a new and unusual drink for this holiday season, which has some people scratching their heads and wondering why.

Starbucks for the first time ever is offering a fully iced holiday beverage for this season, the spiced sweet cream Narino 70 cold brew. This cold brew is blended with an assortment of spices, including cinnamon, nutmeg, anise, and vanilla then topped off with Starbucks’ popular sweet cream. Now you know we are a sucker for good spices, so with this new holiday drink being offered at Starbucks, you know we can’t wait to get our hands on it.

Yoke Wong, Starbucks beverage development team leader said,

“We know our customers are looking for even more options in cold coffee. Although we’ve offered ice and blended versions of our holiday espresso beverages before, this is our first time creating a cold coffee holiday beverage.”

To be honest, this new drink is no surprise. Starbucks sweet cream cold brew has been selling out almost daily and is a new Starbucks fan favorite. This new holiday drink also offers less calories to the health conscience drinkers but still gives you that holiday feel.

The spiced sweet cream Narino 70 cold brew is available now to Reward Members and will be available later to everyone else.
